German-Russian Alliance Formed: Metasonic & Business Logic 2.0...
Pfaffenhofen/Moscow, January 31, 2012 – A German-Russian alliance intends to get Russian companies ready for the future. The goal of the participating companies, Metasonic and Business Logic 2.0, is to bolster the local economy by optimizing business-critical processes, thereby saving millions in costs. The plan is based on the bundling of advanced ECM (enterprise content management) and BPM technologies. The experts at Business Logic 2.0, a subsidiary of the I.T. Group, are considered the leaders in ECM-BPM integration. With its subject-oriented business process management (S-BPM), Metasonic has developed a technology that is already considered by experts to be the successor to the BPM systems currently in use and has already been successfully adopted by prestigious companies such as Audi, NEC and Hitachi.
In a current report*, experts at the renowned technology research and advisory company Gartner, Inc. have adopted S-BPM as a separate category and confirmed an atmosphere of anticipation for this approach. This takes into consideration that Metasonic’s BPM suite enables companies to implement changes to their business processes in no time at all, thereby considerably increasing company performance and agility. By using S-BPM technology, individual departments can carry out any necessary changes themselves and no longer need to tie up the limited resources of their IT departments. This accelerates implementation and also makes the changes much more transparent for employees who are directly involved.
Experts have determined that the Russian economy in particular still has a high demand for changes in BPM. According to a current study by IDC Russia, approximately two-thirds of the Russian firms that have implemented a BPM system modify their processes at least twice a year; 18% of survey respondents even reported making changes monthly. These figures make clear how important it is that companies be able to change their business processes quickly, at any time, without excessive effort and by means of a user-friendly tool. “The Russian economy must overcome great challenges so that local companies will not miss the opportunity to connect to already highly developed and globalized markets,” emphasizes Herbert Kindermann, CEO of software manufacturer Metasonic.
“Together with our Russian partners, we can get these companies ready for the future by bundling the advantages of ECM and S-BPM.”
“S-BPM methodology has triggered a revolution in the field of BPM. We want to make use of this advanced technology in the Russian economy as well. In combination with our own ECM and BPM competencies, we see great development potential in the huge Russian economic zone,” says Dr. Maria Camennova, CEO of Business Logic 2.0. The integration of ECM and BPM is already viewed as a separate market segment and new global IT trend by leading analysts such as Gartner, Forrester and IDC.
